Crosby Out Indefinitely With Concussion Symptoms
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Sidney Crosby said concussion-like symptoms have returned and he has no choice but to take it easy.
That means he will not be in the lineup Tuesday night when the Detroit Red Wings come to town.
The question once again is when might Crosby return?
Crosby would not be pinned down for that answer after practice on Monday. His only response was that hopefully it won't be as long as the last time.

His return to the ice was magical with two goals and two assists against the New York Islanders.
"I came back feeling comfortable and ready to accept whatever came with playing hockey," Crosby said.
Crosby's latest setback can be traced back to their game against the Boston Bruins on Dec. 5.
There were two incidents that left Crosby banged up. One was a collision with teammate Chris Kunitz, while the other came in a collision with Boston's David Krejci.
"I just - the next day after the game didn't feel right and obviously dealing with some of these things before, I kind of knew what to look for. I did my ImPACT test and that went pretty good. So, that was a really a good sign," Crosby said.
Crosby said the ImPACT test alone does not indicate his fitness to play and the symptoms are continuing, but he's keeping it in perspective.
"I'm not happy to be watching or to be dealing with this, but I've got a pretty good idea of things now and know that this is not where I was before so that's the encouraging part," Crosby said.
Crosby said he's been doing some light exertion work, but he needs to be symptom free. He said repeatedly his return this time won't be like the last one.
"When I wasn't doing something for six or seven months, that process was a little longer so hopefully that is not the case here," Crosby said.
Crosby said frustrating doesn't begin to describe the emotions of the situation. He's being cautious while being anxious at the same time and he'll be back as soon as he can.
However, there is no way to guess when that might be.
