Crime Stoppers: Family Of Beltzhoover Murder Victim Looking For Closure
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A month after celebrating his 22nd birthday, William Bosley of Pittsburgh was found shot to death in the in the city's Beltzhoover neighborhood.
It happened in the 900-block of Taft Avenue, and the PT Cruiser that Bosley was driving was later found by police torched in Wilkinsburg.
Police don't have a motive or suspects in their investigation.
Bosley's mother, Keni Bosley, told KDKA-TV's Ralph Iannotti, "Will was my best friend, not just my son; he was very special to me. I don't care who did it, how it was done, I just want justice for Will."
The victim's aunt, Carla Barham, is angry that the victim's friends have not been cooperating in the investigation.
"Someone knows," Barham said. "He had a very large group of friends that he spent time with. I know that one of them knows [something]."
Barham was also critical of a video some of his friends posted on YouTube. His friends called it a tribute, but Barham said the video was disrespectful, "glamorizing terrible behavior."
Pittsburgh Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to a suspect's apprehension and conviction.
