Vehicle Crashes Into Daycare In Westmoreland County

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) - A vehicle slammed into a daycare in Westmoreland County Wednesday morning.
According to a dispatch report, just after 9 a.m. in Washington Township, a vehicle crashed into the Small World Daycare.
According to a woman at the scene, a woman driving a minivan was there to drop off her child when she was sideswiped by a man driving a pickup truck. The truck then slammed into the daycare. The pickup driver told police his brakes failed.
Following the crash, the children were taken to Kiski Area Elementary School. No one inside the daycare was hurt, and the two drivers were treated for minor injuries
Police are investigating.
