Cotsonkia On Pens, 'They Have To Take Better Care Of The Puck'
PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN)--The Penguins were embarrassed by the Boston Bruins in Game 2. To recap the game, The Fan Morning Show talked to Yahoo Sports NHL Writer, Nick Cotsonika.
Cotsonika tells the guys that the Bruins have been good, but it is more the Penguins faults as to why they are down 0-2.
"I think this is more the Penguins playing poorly and getting away from their game," he said."They have to take better care of the puck.
"It doesn't matter who you have in net," Cotsonika said of whether Tomas Vokoun or Marc-Andre Fleury should start in Game 3. While he said he would start Vokoun, Cotsonika says that the Penguins have to play better in front of their goalies, or they will lose in short order.
Given one word to describe the play of Kris Letang, Cotsonika used "sloppy." He certainly has not been playing like a Norris Trophy candidate. But, the skill set is there, and he could break out of his slump at any time.
