Coronavirus Closures: Beaver Valley Mall Closed Until Further Notice
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The Beaver Valley Mall will be closed until further notice amid the growing Coronavirus outbreak.
In a press release Monday evening, the Namdar Realty Group announced its shopping malls would be closed until further notice.
This news comes following Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf's mandate that all shopping malls in Pennsylvania be closed.
Namdar Realty Group say that they will continue to monitor the situation closely and ensure compliance with all state regulations and government orders.
Beaver Valley commissioners are reminding residents to take the necessary precautions to keep themselves and others safe.
Meanwhile, Beaver County Commissioner Daniel Camp said commissioners are taking necessary measures at the Beaver County Courthouse to limit as much foot traffic as they can in the building. They implemented some restrictions to the second floor of the building and anticipate more restrictions later on today.
Commissioners said they are still resuming court cases right now and don't expect another jury trial until May.
A State of Emergency has been declared across the county.
