Victim In Fatal Oakland Construction Site Accident Identified
OAKLAND (KDKA) –One man was killed in a Monday morning construction accident in the Oakland.
According to police, the accident happened at a construction site on Wadsworth Street around 8:15 a.m.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner reports 60-year-old Saverio Prati, of Shaler, was killed. He was reportedly run over by a piece of construction equipment at the Oak Hill Apartment Complex.
Prati was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
OSHA is investigating the accident.
