Complete Steelers Draft Wrap-Up
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - The Fan Morning Show spoke to Post-Gazette beat writer, and 93.7 The Fan Steelers' Insider, Ed Bouchette on Monday morning to get his analysis of the team's nine draft choices.
The Steelers felt that Mike Adams' failed drug test at the NFL Combine wasn't enough to keep him off their draft board. With the first two draft picks dedicated to the offensive line, Ed breaks down how he thinks the line will look in training camp, and next season.
While the Steelers say that they don't draft for needs, but in the first four rounds, they picked positions that filled major holes in their roster.
Ed was on fire over the weekend. He accurately predicted that the Steelers would move up in the fourth round to get Alameda Ta'Amu, and they did. He tells a funny story about an exchange with Steelers GM, Kevin Colbert about the trade.
He also predicted the selection of tight end, Toney Clemons, who is a New Kensington native that played at Valley High School before moving on to the University of Colorado.
