Company Recalling Over 300,000 Pounds Of Frozen Meats
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A meatball company in New Jersey is recalling over 300,000 pounds of frozen meat and poultry.
According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service website, Buona Vita Inc. is recalling "324,770 pounds of various frozen, ready-to-eat meat and poultry products due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes."
The packages are marked "P-954" or "Est. 954" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The products are believed to have been sold to distribution facilities across the United States.
No reports of illness have been reported at this time.
