Closures & Traffic Delays Expected During Officer's Funeral
WASHINGTON, Pa. (KDKA) -- People traveling in and around Washington County should expect some delays during today's funeral for fallen East Washington Police Officer John David Dryer.
The funeral service for Officer Dryer is set for 2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Church in Washington followed by a burial in West Middletown Cemetery.
Officials say Route 844 from the City of Washington to West Middletown will be closed during the procession.
The ramps for Interstate 70 at Jefferson Avenue will be restricted from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
If you are planning to be in that area today, officials are advising that you allow for extra time.
