Christmas Presents, Decorations, Priceless Items Stolen From Family
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A local family may not have the Christmas they had planned, thanks to someone who stole all of their gifts and then some.
A local woman had all her gifts set out to be wrapped, but when she came home, she found them all gone and so were some other priceless items.
Morgan Bell thought she was set for the holidays, she had toys under the tree for her one-year old daughter and six-year old step son. Gifts she and her current boyfriend had already wrapped.
When she came home she says some of the gifts had been stolen along with some of the holiday decorations.
"I was upset, I was crying, and then when I was on the phone with the dispatcher, and he said do you see anything else missing, and I don't even know what made me look but I walked into my dining room and looked over to my shelf," Bell said.
That shelf was where she kept a jewelry box of keepsakes from her late fiancée.
"My engagement ring, his engagement ring, my necklaces, his football pictures, high school pictures," Bell says, all priceless items that can never be replaced.
Bell is working extra hours at her job to try and make enough money to replace the stolen toys, but she says money can't buy a lot of what's been taken.
"It kills me, it really does," Bell says.
Police are asking anyone with information on the case to contact the Southwest Regional Police Department.
