Chief Meteorologist Jeff Verszyla's Summer Outlook
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The last few days we have seen nearly perfect weather, but can possibly it last?
According to KDKA Chief Meteorologist Jeff Verszyla's Summer Outlook, in June, July and August, the average high is expected to be 79.5.
In terms of precipitation, it looks like we'll get slightly more rain than usual, with about 12.9 inches. The average is 11.61 inches.
Jeff also expects five 90-degree days through June, July and August with no prolonged heat waves.
Overall, the summer is expected to have slightly below average temperatures. August will be the warmest month and there will be above average rainfall.
