Chase d'Arnaud To Start Tonight
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- Pirates manager Clint Hurdle isn't wasting any time getting Chase d'Arnaud into the starting lineup.
d'Arnaud will make his major league debut tonight at third base vs. the Boston Red Sox.

**In order to add Chase d'Arnaud to the 40-man roster, the Pirates designated left-hander Aaron Thompson for assignment. Thompson, 24, was claimed off waivers from Washington in December.
**The Pirates made a minor trade reacquiring RHP Steven Jackson from the Reds organization for a player to be named. Jackson pitched for the Pirates in 2009 and '10.
