LOS ANGELES (KDKA) -- Actor Charlie Sheen has been fired.
Warner Bros. released a brief statement on their decision.
"After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen's services on 'Two and a Half Men' effective immediately."
"Two and a Half Men" was put on hiatus several weeks ago after Sheen slammed the show's creator, Chuck Lorre, Warner Bros. and CBS in radio interviews.
The actor responded to the firing by talking to entertainment news website, TMZ, saying it was "good news."
