"Celebrate America" At Kennywood
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - You don't have to wait until the Fourth of July to "Celebrate America!" Gather the family and head to Kennywood Park for a six-day patriotic party that gets underway on Thursday, June 30th!
Uncle Sam himself will join in on all the fun, along with jugglers, mimes -- and even a chainsaw carver.
From June 30th through July 5th, Kennywood is celebrating America with special entertainment including musical acts, a nightly laser show and dazzling fireworks every night (weather permitting).
Each day is packed-full of events -- with something for just about everyone! Here's a look at a few featured events!
- Thursday, June 30th: See the amazing Magic of Chuck Lane and The Kennywood Players
- Friday, July 1st: Enjoy the sounds of the islands from the Carrick High School Steel Drum Band
- Saturday, July 2nd: Hear the sounds of the East Winds Symphonic Band
- Sunday, July 3rd: Join the After School Buddy with the Rainbow Kids
- Monday, July 4th: Enjoy the Pittsburgh Musical Theatre
- Tuesday, July 5th: Come see the CLO Mini Stars!
