Casserly: Discipline Against Pryor Will Be Key
PITTSBURGH (KDKA 93-7 The Fan)- The Steelers travel to Oakland Sunday looking for their third straight win.
In the Steelers' way will be Raiders quarterback and Jeannette native Terrelle Pryor. Bob Pompeani asked former NFL GM and current NFL Network analyst Charley Casserly if Pryor can lead the Raiders to the win.
"His off-schedule plays where he's running, getting outside the pocket, those are the things that can cause a team problems," Casserly said. "Discipline will be critical for the Steeler defense."
With a 2-4 record, Pompeani asked Casserly if the Steelers still have a shot at making the playoffs. Casserly said it will be key for the Steelers to keep Le'Veon Bell healthy and continuing to work Heath Miller back into the offense, but that the Steelers do have two factors in their favor.
"The two things going for them are Ben Roethlisberger, one of the premier quarterbacks in the league, and the team defense they play keeps them in games," he said.
