According to police, Arture approached the register holding items as though he was going to make a purchase. Arture then pulled what appeared to be a gun out of his pocket and told the cashier to open the register. He removed money from the register and fled on foot.
Police say when he was arrested Friday night, he was in possession of a black BB gun with the orange tip removed so it resembled a real gun.
