Carnegie Science Center Train Display
PITTSBURGH (News Radio 1020 KDKA) - The holiday season is here and that means one thing at the Science Center - the Annual Train layout.
KDKA's Rob Pratte talked to the lady behind the layout - Patty Rogers.
This exhibit began in 1920 with a man in Brookville, Pa. Originally a holiday display on the second floor of his house, it moved to the Buhl Planetarium in 1954, and then moved to the Carnegie Science Center in 1992.
The Miniature Railroad & Village features things like Fallingwater, Forbes Field, Sharon Steel Mill, a Pittsburgh incline, and a lot more.
