Car Drags Man On McKnight Road
ROSS TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Police are trying to track down the driver of a car seen dragging a man down McKnight Road in rush hour traffic.
It happened in the far right, southbound lane of McKnight shortly before 6 p.m. A man was hanging on to the passenger side of a vehicle as it traveled in the 7200 block of the road.
"Surprised to see something like that on McKnight Road," a Mattress World employee told KDKA-TV.
The man fell off near the Mattress World showroom.
Officers spent some time there looking at possible evidence and interviewing drivers who were behind the vehicle and at least one man inside the store who saw, at least the very end of that ordeal.
"He was bleeding from his mouth and he actually had a head injury and he was pretty well banged up, scuffed up, his arms and his legs," the employee said.
The victim was transported to Allegheny General Hospital.
