Cab Hits Pedestrian In Downtown Pittsburgh
DOWNTOWN (KDKA) -- A pedestrian was hit by a cab in downtown Pittsburgh.
It happened at Wood Street and Liberty Avenue near the T-station.
KDKA's Paul Martino reports the unidentified male walked into the path of the cab.
His injuries were serious and he was taken to Mercy Hospital. He is listed in stable condition.
Police say mixing pedestrians and cars downtown often becomes a dangerous situation.
"Anytime you have people crossing the street and cars driving on the street you have a potential collision," Pittsburgh Police Sgt. James Vogel said.
