OAKLAND TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Authorities are investigating after a man was found fatally shot in a Butler County home Wednesday.
Investigators say the man's body was found in a home on Davis Road in Oakland Township around 7:15 a.m.
Officials say he was shot sometime late Tuesday night or in the very early hours of Wednesday morning.
The police have a warrant out for a 19-year-old man named Alec Miller in connection with the case.
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Maximillian Halterman. He had reportedly been living in the cabin-type home, which is across from the McCullough Campground.
A woman who knew Halterman said he was a great guy.
"Too young to go. He was always smiling, always happy," said Kadisha Wozniak, a friend of the victim. "It's just a real shame that this keeps happening in Butler,"
