Butler Co. Crash Victims Remembered At Vigil
McKEES ROCKS (KDKA) -- Friends and fellow church members of a couple who were killed in a crash gathered to pray Thursday night in McKees Rocks.
The vigil was held at the First Baptist Church of McKees Rocks.
Pastor David McFarland says 31-year-old Kimberly McLaughlin and 42-year-old Terry Cramer were members there.
McLaughlin and Cramer were both killed along with 3-year-old Terry Cramer III when the minivan they were in lost control and slammed into a tree in Butler County Wednesday night.
Also in the van was an 11-year-old girl and a 1-year-old girl.
Both are at Children's Hospital where the younger girl, Emily, is fighting for her life.
Another girl, Ashley, was not in the minivan. She had just been dropped off at camp when the accident happened.
Police believe McLaughlin may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.
"The little boy was full of life," said Rev. McFarland.
Tommy Connors says a lot tears were shed at the vigil, which was closed to the media. He's asking everyone to pray for the family.
