Burglary Suspect Sought By Police In Fayette County
UNIONTOWN (KDKA) – State Police in Fayette County are asking for help to find the suspect involved in a burglary.
According to police, Debra and James Rakushin of Menallen Township say they were notified by their home security system that someone broke into their house.
Upon arriving home, Rakushin says she saw the door and window were forced open and a generator and chain saw were missing.
Police say the Rakushin's have had their home broken into four separate times recently and have installed security cameras for additional protection.
The security cameras captured footage of the suspect's vehicle and a white male who had several tattoos.
A police investigation found that 27-year-old Jay Franklin of Uniontown is the owner of the vehicle and fits the suspect's description.
Franklin is charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
Police say Franklin is also wanted by Belle Vernon Police for another burglary.
