Bucs: Post-Game Reaction, Pirates Beat Twins
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- The Pittsburgh Pirates took care of the Minnesota Twins Thursday night at PNC Park in a 9-1 win.
Starting pitcher James McDonald was dominant, pitching his first career complete game. He allowed just on run on six hits while tossing a career-high 120 pitches.
Catcher Rod Barajas belted his seventh home run of the season, and Garrett Jones hit his eighth home run of the season -- on his 31st birthday.
All three along with manager Clint Hurdle spoke with the media following the game.
