Browns OL Pinkston: We Don't Look At Steelers As A 4-6 Team
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan)- Cleveland Browns and former Pitt offensive lineman Jason Pinkston joined The Fan Morning Show on Wednesday to talk about the upcoming game Sunday with the Steelers in Cleveland.
Pinkston says what he sees from the Steelers is still a great team with a great defense. They also have plenty of weapons on offense. It looks like the same old Steelers to him.
"We never look at them as a 4-6 football team," Pinkston said. "It's going to be a challenge like it is every year."
Pinkston hopes to be back in the lineup this week. He has been battling injuries his entire career in Cleveland, but he is back healthy now and ready to go.
He is grateful to be back, but is more grateful to be alive after a near plane crash flying back to Cleveland from Cincinnati following their game with the Bengals last Sunday.
"It felt like the plane was going to roll over," Pinkston said.
The wing of the plane was only three feet from the ground on the landing.
"It was real close," Pinkston said.
The Browns are feeling good these days because they feel they finally have the right guys in place to lead them.
"Guys really want to be here these days. Things have really changed around here," Pinkston said.
The Steelers are hoping to see the same old Browns.
The game will kick off Sunday at 1 p.m.
Pinkston said he has been keeping close tabs on his Pitt Panthers and he is a big fan of Aaron Donald. He said he reminds him of Geno Atkins of the Bengals.
He also thinks that Pitt wide receiver Devin Street has all the speed, size and hands to make to the NFL.
Jason also shows some love to his best friend and former teammate Ricky Gary.
