Brock Fined For Hit On Roethlisberger
Pittsburgh (KDKA)- The NFL has issued fines to players that put questionable hits on quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady.
It was announced this morning that the league has fined Seattle's Raheem Brock and San Diego's Antonio Garay both $15,000 for low hits.
On his Twitter account, Brock said, "Fined by the NFL for being "TRIPPED" by an o'lineman and fallin into the QB's legs! Smh if I only had super powers to stop mid-air".
Brock is referring to being leg whipped by Steelers right tackle Marcus Gilbert after beating him with a spin move. After the contact with Gilbert, Brock then fell into Roethlisberger's knee.
Roethlisberger left the game for two plays and then returned.
Garay was fined for a very dangerous hit to Tom Brady's knee during Sunday's game.
