Brandon Sutter: Playoffs Feel Like A Whole New Season
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Penguins center Brandon Sutter joined The Fan Morning Show on Thursday, with the Pens set to face off against the Bruins in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday.
Sutter admitted that his first playoff run has been challenging at times.
"It almost feels like it's a whole new season," Sutter said.
However, he feels that the Penguins pulled themselves together early on, and have been clicking ever since- a fact clearly evidenced by them winning six of their last seven games.
"I think once we got into kind of Games 4 and 5 of the first series, we really started to just kind of settle down," Sutter said.
He thinks that it will be vital for the Penguins to push their weight around early and often against the Bruins.
"You've got to try to set the tone yourself," Sutter said. "Your first shifts, the first few starts to the game to this series are going to be important, so we want to come out physical."
