PG's Brady McCollough Talks About His Experiences In Sochi
PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) -- Brady McCollough, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, joined Chris Mack Friday on The FAN Late shift to talk about his experience in Sochi.
McCollough starts things off by talking about the living conditions and the state of the Olympic Village when he arrived in Sochi.
He said, "They created a futuristic sports mecca."
However, he did note that some things were not ready when people arrived for the first few days of the Winter Games.
McCollough concludes by giving an overview of the story he wrote about Evgeni Malkin's family and their home city of Magnitogorsk.
He argues that due to Malkin's upbringing, their will not be a letdown from the Russian hockey team's early exit.
"He'll take this type of disappointment and fuel his desire to win in Pittsburgh," McCollough says.
