Bracketologist Jerry Palm Predicts Pitt's Seed In NCAA Tournament
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With Selection Sunday coming up, CBS Sports Bracketologist Jerry Palm is beginning to get an idea of how the seedings will unfold.
Palm joined Starkey, Miller and Mueller on The FAN to talk about Pitt's loss to Syracuse and if it hurt their seeding in the NCAA Tournament.
"I don't know how much it hurts their seed. I've got them as a five. I had them as a five before. That wasn't really a bad loss," he said. "I think you've got to keep in mind, conference tournament games are just one game on a team's resume. There's no special weight to them. Thirty-seven teams are going to lose their final game before the NCAA Tournament."
Palm also helped us take a look at who the number one seeds are right now, and who could play their way out of that group.
According to Palm, Gonzaga is locked in to a one seed since their season is done, with Indiana and Duke looking like they're on the inside track as well.
We wrapped tings up with Palm getting a cinderella team he could see making a deep run.
