Bouchette Recaps Steelers' Opening Night Loss
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) - Following the Steelers' 31-19 loss to the Broncos on Sunday night, The Fan Morning Show spoke to Post-Gazette Beat Writer, Ed Bouchette.
As far as the play from Peyton Manning, Ed says there was no difference from the Peyton Manning we knew from a couple of years ago in Indy. Even after getting hit a few times early, Ed says that Manning did a great job of avoiding pressure as the game went on.
We saw a lot of no-huddle offense from the Steelers Sunday night. Ed thinks that, by using it a lot in a hostile environment on the road, we should expect to see a lot of it throughout the season.
Ben Roethlisberger was good, but made a few mistakes that hurt the team. Ben took the blame on himself after the game, but Ed says that we saw a lot of really good passes from Ben, and that his accuracy was very on point.
