Bouchette Discusses Gay Signing, Ben's Leadership
PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN) - Steelers Insider for 93.7 The Fan, and Post-Gazette beat writer, Ed Bouchette spoke to the Fan Morning Show on Tuesday about the Steelers' off-season.
The Steelers signed corner back William Gay back from the Arizona Cardinals on Monday. Gay left the Steelers two years ago to become a starter.
After 15 starts, he has returned to a backup role, that, as Ed tells us, is clear because he will only be making around $600,000 this season.
Ben Roethlisberger spoke to Ed about the heavily-covered locker room "rift" that hit the media this off-season.
Ed tells us that Ben sought him out to dispel those myths and take a leadership role in restoring the fans' faith in the unity of the Steelers' locker room.
