Boomer Esiason Previews AFC Championship Game
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Boomer Esiason from The NFL Today on CBS joined the FAN Morning show to preview the AFC Championship game on Sunday.
Esiason said "most Jet fans think it is going to be a slam dunk to beat the Steelers," but he warns those fans that it will be a "tall order" because the Steelers will have players available that they didn't back in Week 15.
Esiason co-hosts The NFL Today show with former Steeler head coach Bill Cowher and he continues to tell Esiason what a difference maker safety Troy Polamalu is. He also offered insights into how Cowher acts when he watches a Steelers game.
Esiason says he has an idea of what kind of defense Rex Ryan will employ against Ben Roethlisberger, and he expects the Jets will use their two cover corners to shut down Mike Wallace.
Wallace is the one receiver that can change the game, Esiason added.
