Body Found In Trunk Of Burning Car Identified
PENN HILLS, Pa. (AP/KDKA) - Authorities in western Pennsylvania say the body of a man found in the trunk of a burning car in a Pittsburgh suburb last spring has been identified.
The Allegheny County medical examiner's office says DNA evidence was used to identify the victim as 32-year-old Deven Henry Clark. The cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.
Fire crews in Penn Hills responded to a report of a blaze around 1:15 a.m. on May 27 and found the car burning in an alley behind a Baptist church. After bringing the fire under control, they found the man's body in the trunk of the car.

When the body was first discovered, Allegheny County Police Lt. Andrew Schurman said the body appeared to be bound with possibly a sheet or duct tape.
