Bob Walk: 'I Don't Have Any Problem With Barry Bonds At All Personally'
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Pirates broadcaster Bob Walk joined "The Fan Morning Show" on Monday as the guys broadcasted live from inside the stadium in anticipation of Opening Day.
Walk didn't seem to mind that former teammate Barry Bonds will be making an appearance at PNC Park for the Opening Day festivities.
"I don't have any problem with Barry Bonds at all personally," Walk said. "I've always gotten along with him, and I know that he's been painted with a rather dark-colored brush. His public relations has really gone off the cliff the last probably decade or so. So, I know that there are going to be a lot of people that boo him, but at the same time, I also know that he's the best baseball player I ever played with and watched live with my own eyes, so I'll be happy to see him again. I hope that he can rehabilitate his image.
Today's game can be heard on 93-7 The Fan.
