Bob Errey Not Ready To Give Up On Pens
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - With the Pens down three games to none in the Eastern Conference Finals, there is little optimism to go around, but Pens Analyst Bob Errey is one of the believers left that could see the Pens making a comeback.
"The question is, can they get a goal on Rask and can they get their heads on straight where they can actually believe that this is actually attainable? And I believe it is," said Errey.
There certainly is enough blame to go around from the coaching staff to the players; and while being a former player Errey puts the blame on the players, he hasn't liked all the moving parts the Pens have had as they seemingly switch lines around every game.
"You shouldn't be trying to find your lines, find your game and finding the right combinations, even finding your goaltender," he said. "The Penguins are trying to find out who's playing with Evgeni Malkin, who's playing with Sidney Crosby. There's so many moving parts right now for a team that you're already deep into the playoffs."
Errey also talks about the off-season salary issues the Pens might run into with Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang.
