Bob Beers On Clash Of Penguins/Bruins
PITTSBURGH (93.7 THE FAN)--Tuesday night, the Penguins face one of the other "Beast of the East" teams in the Boston Bruins.
The Bruins are a point away from being the top team in the Eastern Conference and have played the fewest games in the league.
To preview the game, the Fan Morning Show spoke with Bruins radio color analyst, and former Boston Bruin, Bob Beers.
Bob tells us that the Bruins will not be able to shut down the Sidney Crosby line. But, they will match Zdeno Chara against him, hoping to contain the NHL scoring leader.
The Bruins played a game that went all the way to a shootout Monday night, so Bob tells us what kind of effect that could have on them as they traveled to Pittsburgh late at night.
