PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Rob Pratte hosted Black and Gold Sunday live at Kuhn's Market.
He was joined by Bob Ford, Bob Dvorchak, Mike Bires, and Ted Arneaut.
The fellas covered the biggest sports stories of the week and kicked things off with discussion of The Masters golf tournament. After round two, Jason Day was the leader, big story lines included Tiger Woods and Tianlang Guan being penalized for rules violations.
The Frozen Four Championship took place at The Consol Energy Center on Saturday. Yale came into the game as an underdog against Quinnipiac. Yale entered the tournament seeded 15th out of 16 teams, but that didn't stop them from beating Quinnipiac 4-0 to win the Frozen Four Championship.
Rob Pratte was ecstatic that Susie McConnell Serio was hired by the Pitt Panthers Women's Basketball team, she made the short switch from Duquesne. Serio has a long history in women's basketball, she played college basketball at Penn State and went onto coach in the WNBA, where she won coach of the year honors in 2004.
