Billy Joel Officially Coming To PNC Park For Summer Concert
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- The "Piano Man" is officially coming to PNC Park.
Billy Joel is set to perform at the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates this summer.
Frank Coonelly, the Pirates president, Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald held a press conference Thursday morning to make the announcement.
Joel will perform at PNC Park on Friday, July 1.
"You're going to see multi-generational families packing the stadium," said Peduto. "Kids and their parents liking the same artist and bringing together a special Pittsburgh feel in a place that we love, PNC Park. It's going to be a special night in July."

The announcement is just the latest addition to a packed Fourth of July weekend in Pittsburgh.
The day after the Billy Joel concert, Kenny Chesney will take the stage at Heinz Field on July 2.
