Big Ben Back To Work
SOUTH SIDE (KDKA) -- Despite playing with a broken nose and then having surgery just two days ago, Ben Roethlisberger took part in practice full throttle.
Roethlisberger had a protective face shield on his helmet and will wear it for the game against Cincinnati. Mario Lemieux told him he looked like a hockey player.
Interestingly, right after he suffered that broken nose, he was seen talking to Referee Terry McAulay in Baltimore.
"I just asked him if he saw the blood … [and] if he thought that he, you know, went for my head, and his response was just 'He was trying to tackle you,' so I just let it go at that," Roethlisberger said.
