Bethel Park Bank Robbery Suspect In Custody
BETHEL PARK (KDKA) –A man has been taken into custody in connection with a bank robbery in Bethel Park last week.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 25-year-old Bryan Woods was taken into custody on Friday.
According to police, the robbery happened at the Northwest Savings Bank on Library Road shortly before 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Surveillance video showed a man demand money from the teller and even going for the cash himself.
"[He] immediately reached across the counter, actually jumped up on the counter, and reached over, opened a drawer, grabbed some cash and ran off," Bethel Park Police Chief John Mackey said.
No other details have been released at this time.
