Since 2001, McCaffrey Mysteries has been a leader in comedy-murder mysteries throughout the Pittsburgh area. Its interactive dinner theater shows are a blast for audiences of all ages who will use the clues uncovered over the evening to find the cold-blooded murder behind this funny and entertaining mystery. Gaetano's will provide a dinner buffet of chicken Florentine, pasta marinara, sausage and meatballs, tossed salad, parsley potatoes, green beans, ice cream, coffee and soft drinks. A cash bar will also be available. A portion of all ticket sales from this show will be donated to the Animal Rescue League of Western Pennsylvania and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Set sail on the city's three rivers for a swashbuckling musical titled "A Pirate's Tale" that includes original music performances, stories of intrigue and betrayal and thrilling sword battles during its telling of the seizure of The Raven Spanish naval ship by a pirate crew. Treat yourself to a treasure trove of Pirate-themed dinner features, including vegetable swords, pirate chicken fingers, Flying Dutchmen pizza boat, skull and crossbones cake and more. The boat boards at 5:30 p.m. and sails from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
