A favorite St. Patrick's Day celebration in Pittsburgh is the unrivaled Pittsburgh St. Patrick's Day Parade. This jam-packed event is sure to be well-attended, thanks to its incredible history and continuation of beautiful floats, eye-catching Irish groups and marching bands and the arrival of Miss Smiling Irish Eyes Of Pittsburgh. This annual parade is the region's largest gathering of Pittsburgh's Irish community.

On Thursday, Mar. 10, enjoy a reenactment and stage production of the song "Finnegan's Wake" as well as coffin with a living corpse. At Giant Eagle's Robinson Market District location, you'll combine the two as you roll up your sleeves for its hands-on cooking school party focused around cooking with Guinness. Learn from the Market District's excellent cooking school staff as they teach you to whip up easy and tasty traditional Irish entrées. Don't forget about dessert, Guinness cupcakes that pair well with the party's theme drink called a Leprechaun mojito. This three-hour cooking celebration runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Robinson Market District, located in the Settlers Ridge shopping center.
