Best Places To Take Middle School Kids On A Rainy Day

Forget video games, texting and instant messages, if your middle schooler is searching for something to do on a rainy day, there are some great places to visit in and around the Pittsburgh area. Here are seven suggestions where they can find some fun!

Highmark SportsWorks, located next door to the Carnegie Science Center, contains nearly 30 fun and educational exhibits spread out over 12,000 square feet of exhibition space. Kids can "explore and discover the physics of sports, nutrition and health" and try their hand at exciting sports challenges.
