The rise of Instagram has made it easy for photographers, professional and non-professional alike, to share their perspectives on the world around them. Wendy Lachendro (@pittsburghinpictures), the creative force and team lead behind 412 Project, has held an interest in photography for a long time.  After walking by a pop-up exhibit in a downtown storefront a few years ago, she had a similar idea for a photography pop-up space aimed at showcasing local photographers from the Pittsburgh area. 412 Project will feature photos highlighting the city's culture and beauty from local Instagrammers. The organization's  first project is planned for Oct. 23, and will run for two months at the former visitors center kiosk located in the downtown's Gateway Center.
