Best Indian Food In Pittsburgh

Indian food is a perfect cuisine for anyone who likes spices. Places are available throughout the Pittsburgh area, but sometimes they are hit or miss. Remember, as India is regionalized into five areas (north, northeast, south, west and east), each region has a different style of cooking and may not use the same spices, just as different areas in the U.S. have different styles and selections of foods. The naming convention of Indian food is interesting as it can be derived from the cooking process, place of origin, culture, ingredient or texture. When the name is derived from a culture, the culture can be associated with a regime or dynasty such as the Mughal or Moghul eras. A small description of the dish is typically available with each menu item, and social media has assisted in bringing to life the dishes through the colorful pictures circulating the web.
