Though it's a great course for seasoned golfers as well, if you're just learning the game, Lindenwood Golf Club in Canonsburg is one of the best courses around for beginners. Lindenwood is a 27-hole course – so players have three courses from which to choose. If you're still new to golf, the 1650-yard Executive Course is the one you want to try, though. With par either 31 or 35, depending on the golfer's skill level, Lindenwood says this course is its "scaled down version of a regulation course." Even if your game isn't quite up to par, you're sure to enjoy the outdoors "with two ponds and plenty of broadleaf and evergreen trees scattered throughout!"
