Handmade Arcade is a must-visit for fans of handmade wares. The craft show is Pittsburgh's oldest and biggest, begun in 2004 to give artists an opportunity to sell their creations. Last year's show was the biggest to date, with a record number of vendor applications and more attention than ever before. At Handmade Arcade, you'll find just about any handmade good you can think of. The 2016 show will be held on Saturday, December 6, making it a perfect stop for Christmas shopping.

Run by Huff's Promotions, you'll find similar Art, Craft, & Lifestyle shows at various places around the state. In the Pittsburgh area, you can find the show, with its vendors showcasing handmade goods, at the Monroeville Mall twice a year. The first show is held in March just in time for Easter, while the second is held in November, for those of you who want to get a head start on your Christmas shopping. Both shows are held during mall hours, with exhibitors located throughout the mall.

Welcome fall with the Covered Bridge Festival, held at various covered bridges across both Washington and Greene counties the third weekend in September. The festival features crafts, entertainment, food and even historical reenactments. This year's show will be its 46th, and more information will be released this summer. A "nomadic, pop-up handmade shopping place," I Made It Market is perfect for those looking for a craft fair to come to them. The market has popped up all across Pittsburgh, with recent stops at the Feed More Festival at Stage AE, the Squirrel Hill Night Market, the WYEP Music Festival, and more. Upcoming stops including Squirrel Hill Night Markets in August and September. I Made It also offers workshops for people wanting to learn everything from how to make something to how to hone business skills.

For the 47th year, the Craftsmen's Guild of Pittsburgh presents A Fair in the Park, featuring over 100 different national and regional artists showcasing their work, about 60 percent of which are guild members. The fair includes everything from ceramics to wood to jewelry, with four prizes awarded to the most outstanding artists.
