PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) -- Former Cincinnati Bengals offensive lineman and current radio color analyst Dave Lapham joined The Fan Morning Show on Friday to preview Sunday's do-or-die showdown between the Bengals and the Steelers at Heinz Field (1 p.m., KDKA-TV).
Lapham feels that both teams have had a tendency to let their mistakes snowball this season.
"When you make mistakes, you can't collapse," Lapham said. "You can't let a bad play turn into a bad quarter."
He sees Andy Dalton's struggles against the Steelers factoring into the Bengals' game plan on Sunday.
"Every quarterback's best friend is a good running game," Lapham said. "And that is what the Bengals are going to stick to heading into Sunday."
He said that this squad knows it has to strike while the iron is hot.
"The Bengals realize the time is now," he said. "The Steelers and Bengals are leaking oil."
