Ben Roethlisberger cleared to return to team activities
NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has advised the Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger that the quarterback is cleared to return to team activities beginning next week.

The commissioner says he will continue to monitor Roethlisberger's progress and will meet with him sometime in the future.
Meanwhile, there's been no decision about whether the quarterback's six regular season game suspension could be modified.
"Commissioner Goodell informed us today that based on the information he received from the clinical evaluations, he has cleared Ben Roethlisberger to return to the Steelers' facility to take part in both meetings and practices," Steelers' president Art Rooney II said in a statement. "We look forward to having Ben re-join his teammates on the practice field."
Roethlisberger was suspended after a twenty-year-old college student in Georgia accused him of sexual assault. No charges were filed.
