Beau Bennett Suffers Leg Injury During Friday Practice
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - Penguins forward Beau Bennett has become well known for his potential, and for his injuries.
Throughout the early days of the preseason, Bennett has appeared to begin to realize that potential, until he suffered yet another injury.
Bennett appeared to be seriously injured as he was helped off the ice at practice after teammate Kasperi Kapanen's skate clipped his, sending him to the ice.
After practice, Bennett provided this update on his injury.
Despite how gruesome the injury may have looked, head coach Mike Johnston updated the media later in the day saying the injury "isn't as bad as it looked."
Last year for the Penguins, Bennett played in 21 games, scoring three goals and four assists.
