Baby Grazed By Bullet In Uniontown
UNIONTOWN (KDKA) -- Police in Fayette County are investigating the shooting of a 6-month-old baby.
They were called to Pershing Court in Uniontown for a report of a child in need of an ambulance.
When they got there, they discovered the child had been grazed in the head by a bullet.
The circumstances that led to the gunfire remain unclear.
"No charges yet; we are investigating," said Capt. David Rutter, of Uniontown Police. "We have more interviews to do. So we're trying to piece together what happened."
Investigators say everyone who was in the home seems to be telling a different story.
Police continue trying to sort it all out.
The child is being treated at Children's Hospital.
